Monkeys are cute.

Happy Monkey Year.

BBC: 'Edinburgh zoo in Scotland displayed its new baby Titi monkey on the occasion of the Chinese year of the monkey.'

Year of the Monkey is, without doubt, the best year.

(Another insightful comment brought to you by the fine folks inside Matthew’s head)

I hear they think that in China, too. Expectant mothers have been trying to stave off childbirth so their kidsos would be Monkey babies instead of whatever it was last week.

I have finally come to a conclusion regarding the question of where I saw this creature earlier today. Apparently someone had posted it on my mirror this morning when I got up…

Ah…are you sure about that? Or are you just rationalizing? :)

And it’s from the BBC’s “the day in pictures” feature—it’s in the Edinburgh zoo.

Monkeys are cute, but that one is creeping me out. Don’t know why! Just a little creepy, K.

Bah! Embrace your inner monkey!

Last year was Year of the Goat. I like goats better than monkeys, personally, but I can see why most people don’t.

If goats could brachiate, maybe I’d see your point of view. As ‘tis, I must indicate the monkey as Winner.

However, the Tiger is king of beasts. Or maybe Empress.
