The City Armoury/Manége Militaire in Ville de Québec has burned down. It had become a museum, and I wished when we drove past it that I had the option of visiting. Now I’ll never get to do so.

In retrospect, maybe they should have removed the black powder and cannonballs.

Well, it is an armoury.

News reports do indicate some people saw/heard an explosion, but the fire dept. hasn’t confirmed a cause so far as I know.
