It’s raining! Terribly hard! When I was out in it earlier, before it swelled this much, it was plopping leadenly in my hair and making me shiver and laugh. But now it is burring, blurring down with a drum roll on every skylight all down the building, and spurting up from the sidewalk like millions of parade streamers. It’s so lovely and wet and home!

Yay weather!
I love weather! This is one of the things I miss about Texas. When there was weather, it was always severe. If the raindrops weren’t large enough to drown small woodland creatures, they weren’t worth mentioning. I wish we had that kind of weather here more often.
And tornadoes! There’s nothing quite so cool as watching a distant tornado make its way across the landscape.

You crack me up.
when it rains in the valley...
You know what they say, when it rains in the Valley its snowing on the Mountain. Yesterday Timberline got a light dusting thruought the day with a few hours of really heavy snow. If you think skiing alone is quite, try doing it when the snow is comming down. You can hear anything and cant see much beyond the ski trail. Its awsome!
