I’ve never really been to the East Coast, so I wouldn’t know. You’ll note that I gave Cleveland storms their due in the body of the article—tho’ I must confess, whilst not quite so loud, Wyoming storms are more visually impressive. There’s something about a vast black cloud filling the sky and scourging the horizon with its glowing tentacles, like a Man o’ War searching for prey. But, that said, Cleveland thunderstorms were the loudest by far.
felicityhttp://faerye.net/post/wrath-of-thor#comment-1161Storm2004-04-20T00:22:38+00:002004-04-20T00:22:38+00:00
You know,
I’ve discovered that storms, even hurricanes, on the East Coast, don’t have the same oomf, of say a good old fashioned Cleveland Thunderbumper. And you all disparage Cleveland saying it has nothing good….
EAKuglerhttp://faerye.net/post/wrath-of-thor#comment-1033Re: Thunder is as thunder does...2004-02-17T18:05:10+00:002004-02-17T18:05:10+00:00
If you were to find the smitten webfoot, and see a hammer, chariot wheel or goat hoof imprint, you’d know for sure.
GreyStorkhttp://faerye.net/post/wrath-of-thor#comment-1032Re: Thunder is as thunder does...2004-02-17T17:31:11+00:002004-02-17T17:31:11+00:00
No I did not, in point of fact.
