I told him I didn’t have a fever, but he said neither did his little boy.
felicityhttp://faerye.net/post/ugh#comment-1135I feel your pain2004-04-06T22:40:13+00:002004-04-06T22:40:13+00:00
When my parents were out to visit I spent a day and a half with what I would have attributed to food poisoning had my father not had an identical meal. I am starting to suspect there is something going around. However, no Burger King and/or other highway fast food can’t be a bad idea.
grizeldahttp://faerye.net/post/ugh#comment-1134Re: Multiple Ughs2004-04-05T15:27:11+00:002004-04-05T15:27:11+00:00
Thanks :) Actually, what I ate was a Santa Fe Chicken Baguette at Burger King. My sister’s fiance a few months ago got worse food poisoning from eating a fried chicken sandwich at a different burger joint off I-5—so my sister thinks the moral of the story is not to eat chicken at fast food joints on the I-5 corridor. Heed it well ye travellers!
felicityhttp://faerye.net/post/ugh#comment-1133Re: Hey now...2004-04-05T14:38:31+00:002004-04-05T14:38:31+00:00
I should look up words I don’t know before using them. The patio tables were a joint venture. The chaise, if it means what the dictionary says it means, was all Matt.
wonkohttp://faerye.net/post/ugh#comment-1132Hey now...2004-04-05T14:36:23+00:002004-04-05T14:36:23+00:00
...that lovely patio chaise was a joint venture. :P

Glad to hear you’re feeling better. In the future, remember: fast food devil. Also, Seattle devil, but Seattle’s never given me food poisoning. Not directly, anyway.

It seems odd to me because two other people I know were also knocked back this weekend with food-related intestinal woes (one lobster bisque related, the other chili inspired) If it’s true that bad things happen in threes then I guess the rest of us can relax now and eat with no fear, (except for the mild trauma caused by the GreyStork’s fondness for Very Spicy Spices in his otherwise yummy cooking.) :-) Hope you feel better!
gardengirl
