If I had a digicam I’d take a picture of that overflowing shelf… and the floor around it where it overflowed. Money might be an object, but when it comes to books I seem to acquire without reason, then reason out how to make ends meet.

Between packing, moving, revising short stories and writing a novel…not so much!

But at least it’s already on the shelf, right? You don’t have to try to borrow money.

You were the only one who gave me an inkling of its impending five-star status ;)

She’s so subtle, too. She brings back echoes of earlier passages and images with such a deft hand.

Just the way the plot is unfolded and enmeshed and layered and interwoven with “artifacts” like the comic book story and newspaper clippings. This book is what The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay wished it could be. And I really liked AAKC.
