Is that carrying this Dear Child of many names business too far?
gardengirlhttp://faerye.net/post/princess-eilonwy#comment-1157Re: Have you now?2004-04-16T18:36:34+00:002004-04-16T18:36:34+00:00
Can’t blame you. I’m always startled when someone calls me “Mr. Jensen,” and mind you, I was born that way. Maybe it’s too close to what agent Smith would say if he came to pay me a visit, or something. I’m pretty sure I’d answer fairly naturally if someone were to address me as “GreyStork,” though. Perhaps I’d even be slightly flattered that someone would actually know my online alter ego.
GreyStorkhttp://faerye.net/post/princess-eilonwy#comment-1156Re: Have you now?2004-04-16T12:11:14+00:002004-04-16T12:11:14+00:00
Well, yeah, but that’s cuz I’m used to being “Felicity Whelan”. If I were, for instance, a 1st grade teacher, gettin’ called Mrs. Whelan everyday, I might be used to it :p
felicityhttp://faerye.net/post/princess-eilonwy#comment-1155Have you now?2004-04-16T11:47:24+00:002004-04-16T11:47:24+00:00
You always say it sounds weird when I call you Mrs. Whelan. Or, to be more precise, when Dr. Maturin calls you Mrs. Whelan.
wonko
