Jared — Thank you so much! I’m glad to hear the story succeeded so well with you, especially Ando — I worked to try to give him some dimensionality without giving him more space than he deserved. Great to hear it paid off!

Sam — Wonderful! I love hearing from new readers. As I said, this story is a little different from my previous science fiction publications, which are mostly near-future. Just read it and had to check out your website/blog. Awesome story, worthy of being on the cover. Loved the military SF part (though it was horrifying), loved the family angle, and loved that you gave Ando some depth and didn’t leave him a sort of one-dimensional villain. Great work.
