...as I’m pissed because they treated the entire building for fleas over the weekend and I just removed a live, adult flea from my arm two minutes ago! So hopefully this will cut my angst off at the knees…

1. I have a very short commute to an office where I can watch the sun rise over the Cascades from my desk.
2. I have like 45 satsuma oranges.
3. I can parler the francais, although this rarely improves my day beyond general smugness.
4. I work with intelligent, funny people who seem to like what I dish out.
5. I type 90 wpm.
6. I own John Denver & the Muppets Christmas, and it makes me just as happy as it did when I was six.
7. The excel formula CONCATENATE, strawberry Nerds, and Asics Gel-MC Plus for my feeble feet
8. My friend Kate at work brings chocolate.
9. Water from the Brita pitcher tastes simply delicious.
10. I do not have a TV on the main level of my house.

The little things that come to mind...

I don’t have a long drive to work every day.

I now know how to make at least one kind of pie that actually tastes good.

Gardengirl occasionally gives me ice cream. The good stuff.

I’m satisfied with the speed of my internet connection.

I have a wind-up, wiggly-tailed shark that I can play with in my bath tub.

My cat likes to sleep in my lap while I work.

Some plants manage to survive being in my care.

Wonko made something called Poseidon.

For a Dane, my English has become pretty good over the years.

I’m not too busy to take the time to sit here and wonder, for a little while, about small things like these that make life worthwhile.

Don't pet the sweaty things

I don’t have to set foot in the office until January.

Matt and Felicity have supplied me with more blue flashing LEDs than I thought I’d ever own.

I watched four movies today and loved every one of them.

I have more pie than I know what to do with.

If I wanted to, I could sleep all day tomorrow. And the next day, and the next day, and the next day.

This is the time of year when weather happens, and I love weather.

2004 is a very pretty number which I will enjoy writing.

My eyes don’t hurt.

My hands don’t hurt.

This is the first time I’ve touched a computer all day, and I’m about to put it away and go to sleep.

Really nice little things

1. There is a big fat raccoon who lives in my yard and lets me talk to him while he’s stealing the cat food on the porch.
2. No one at the nursery considers me to be not doing my job even when I spend an hour catching frogs and releasing them into the big pond. I can catch newts and snakes, too.
3. GreyStork gave me apple pie with whipped cream to eat.
4. I have a valid library card.

1 that coke comes in 120z cans, cause its just the right size, not too much and not too little.

2 I am a good cashiere, and therefore get to go under the radar when my boss gets picky.

3 Wonko’s mom got him a cat, wich means i get all the benefits of owning a cat, without actually owning the cat.

4 Wonko got spray bottles that dont go very far for when qubit get a little uppity, and hence Barry cant spray my from the couch.

5 I have lots a silly friends who like silly things, wich makes it ok that im kinda silly and like silly things.

Should i keep going? ;-)
