It exists, though rarely, in the world of poetry as well. Poetry collaborations – such as, I think I remember, between Denise Duhamel and Maureen Seaton – seem to exist a bit on the fringes of “literary” poetry, but it does exist.
Jeannine Hall Gaileyhttp://www.webbish6.comhttp://faerye.net/post/collaborating#comment-2544What you said.2009-10-06T20:34:21+00:002009-10-06T20:34:21+00:00
I’ve been thinking about this since I saw the teaser on twitter earlier. Speculative fiction combines so many things – good writing with good knowledge of how things work with good scientific understanding of what is possible with a good understanding of human motivation and how “what if”s play out. Granted, other genres require some of this too, but spec-fic is so cool for what it does. Maybe it’s because I have been reading Gaiman and Atwood a little lately, but I’m all about the stuff. Good Omens is on my list, my friend.
Emilyhttp://www.xanga.com/boureemusique
